Annual Rally Side Trip # 2 Music City Tour
July 17, 2019
Visit the Historic RCA Studio B, home of more than 1000 top 10 hits including numerous classics by Dolly, Waylon, Willie Roy Orbison and Elvis. You will have a chance to join a choir style recording session in the very spot where Elvis recorded over 250 songs! Our next stop is the entertaining and interactive Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum where you will find plenty of inspiration among the rare costumes, instruments and archival films that tell the history of America’s music. No visit to Nashville would be complete without a trip to Jack’s BBQ. New York Times, Southern Living and USA Today has written this restaurant up to be the “Best BBQ in Nashville, Tennessee.” After lunch we will take a self guided tour of The Ryman Auditorium, an acoustic gem; a National History site and former home of the Grand Ole Opry from 1943-1974. This tour of Music City will be one you will not want to miss!
